Chef and “Sauce Queen” India Johnson, who has developed a following of customers from pop-ups at restaurants such as The Clermont Hotel, is hosting two seatings for a six-course prix fixe dinner at Twisted Soul. A $20 deposit toward the $80-per-person ticket price is required, with pescatarian and vegetarian dietary restrictions considered after booking. The menu includes bread service, and dishes such as fried and caramelized Trini-Chinese chicken, guajillo tamarind BBQ beef short rib, and spiced rum cake. Paired drinks will be non-alcoholic, with cocktail pairing upgrade available.
