Latinx International Film Festival
October 30, 2021 - October 31, 2021
See a selection of 24 indie films celebrating people of Latin American origin/descent at Hapeville’s Academy Theater this weekend. The two-day festival includes short films helmed by directors from Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela, and curated by Daytime Emmy award-winner Jesús Andrés Lugo Gómez, an Atlanta-based, Mexican-born filmmaker. The fest coincides with Hapeville’s Día de Muertos celebration, which will feature public art, gallery exhibitions also celebrating Hispanic culture.
