Atlanta Summer Wine Festival

Figure out exactly just how many grapes you’re willing to bust at this two-day festival for those of us who like to get tipsy in the classy way. The Festival begins Friday and offers you the choice of three 4-hour sessions to enjoy more than 50 wines and a small selection of beer as you groove to live music and sounds from DJ Q-Tip (no, not from A Tribe Called Quest but still vibin’). Important note: All guests must show a vaccination card with full dosage occurring two weeks before you attend, or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of your selected 4-hour sipping/sampling session. A picture of your vaccination card on your phone is OK, but photographs of an at-home test will not be accepted  — only proof from a valid medical facility or pharmacy. You’ll save $10 if you get advance tickets, and there’ll be plenty of free bottled water for those of us who forget that wine does not hydrate a person.
